Teabox (a brand owned by Teaxpress Pvt. Ltd.) is on a mission to ensure that every cup of tea consumed in the world is fresh. That is why we have revolutionized how tea comes to you. We source directly from over 150 estates across India. The finest teas come to us often within a few hours of production. We use state-of-the-art dehumidifying and cold storage solutions that keep the freshness, aroma, and taste of the teas intact. To date, we have delivered over 5 Bn cups to 125+ countries.

Our vision is to build a home-grown premium tea brand from source that not only takes Indian teas to global levels but also gives back to the region. Hence we are significantly operating and hiring in Siliguri.

About The Role

At Teabox, we're opening up a unique opportunity — a role where you work directly with our founders and leadership team to help them build and grow the company! In this role, you will play an important part in building go to market strategies, identifying new opportunities and helping us scale.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking for extremely fast growth, huge learning, and a chance to lead by example in a thriving startup environment. This role does not come with a checklist or task list. As a part of the Founders office, you will be expected to do whatever it takes to help the founders in some of the key business areas, solve the biggest problems which we face in our day to day business.

This is a role that will prepare you for handling high impact business problems or if you want to start your own start-up later.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work directly with the founders to solve high impact business problems in the domains of Marketing, Strategy, Operations, Logistics and People Management.
  • Bring together all existing offerings to build up/capitalise on the opportunity we have in hand.
  • Drive the execution together with the team to execute on the opportunity.
  • Research, model, evaluate, and plan go-to-market strategies.
  • Work closely with the founders on hiring and other high-level challenges.

  • Analytical Thinking suggesting data based decision making.
  • Demonstrated track record of tackling business issues with enthusiasm and a problem solving mindset.
  • Have a First Principle Approach.
  • Strong Attention to Detail.
  • You are an entrepreneur at heart, i.e you are not only excited about startups but also really understand what it is like to work in one.
  • You do not wait for instructions and guidelines but believe in taking end-to-end ownership of things.
  • You are excited to learn new things and do not shy away from going above and beyond the traditional growth paths.
  • You have strong communication skills.
  • You keep yourself updated on new developments
  • You can quickly adapt to the changing environment and are quick to pick up new skills if required to get the job done.
