Job description
Team Leadership:
Supervise and lead a team of collection agents or specialists.
Provide guidance training and support to team members to ensure they meet performance targets.
Strategy Development:
Develop and implement effective debt collection strategies.
Analyze data and trends to identify opportunities for improvement in the collection process.
Policy Compliance:
Ensure that the collection team adheres to company policies industry regulations and legal requirements in the debt collection process.
Performance Monitoring:
Monitor and evaluate the performance of the collection team.
Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as recovery rates call quality and efficiency.
Customer Relations:
Address customer inquiries and concerns professionally and effectively.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate and uptodate records of collection activities.
Prepare regular reports on the status of collections and present findings to senior management.
Risk Management:
Identify potential risks in the collection process and implement strategies to mitigate them.
Work closely with other departments such as credit and risk management to assess and manage overall organizational risk.
Technology Utilization:
Utilize collection software and technology to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
Stay informed about advancements in collection technologies and recommend updates or changes as needed.
Training and Development:
Provide ongoing training to collection staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Keep the team informed about changes in policies regulations and industry best practices.
Customer Feedback Analysis:
Analyze feedback from customers and use it to improve the collection process and customer relations.
