Role Description This is a full-time hybrid Public Relations Specialist role for Star Squared PR. The role will be located in Bengaluru, with flexibility for some remote work. The Public Relations Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing public relations strategies, creating and distributing PR assets, building relationships with media outlets and journalists, and managing social media channels.

Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or related field. Master’s degree will be preferable 5+ years of experience in PR or related field Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills Ability to proactively identify and effectively respond to media opportunities and challenges Experience in social media management and content creation Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with cross-functional teams Experience in crisis communication or issues management is a plus Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines

Responsibilities: Team leader role Drive strategy for clients and BU Supervise and implement various campaigns keeping the companys vision in mind Developing and implementing PR strategies and campaigns that align with the organization’s overall objectives. Building and maintaining relationships with key media outlets, journalists, and influencers to ensure positive media coverage. Writing and distributing press releases, articles, speeches, and other communications materials to inform the public about the organization’s activities and initiatives. Organizing and managing events, including press conferences, product launches, and trade shows. Monitoring and analyzing media coverage and public sentiment about the organization and its products or services. Responding to inquiries from the media, customers and other stakeholders in a timely and professional manner. Managing and creating content for media, social media, and other digital platforms to engage with stakeholders and promote the clients brand. Collaborating with other departments to ensure consistency in messaging and branding. Developing crisis management plans and strategies to mitigate negative publicity and protect the organization’s reputation. Analyzing and reporting on the effectiveness of PR campaigns and strategies.
