The Retail Jeweller India is a media company dedicated to the Indian and Middle East gems and jewellery industry based in Mumbai. The company publishes The Retail Jeweller Magazine and Market Tabloid every two months which is read across 603 cities and towns of India. They also organize the Retail Jeweller India Awards the most prestigious and elite event for jewellery retailers as well as the Retail Jeweller India Forum an industry conference featuring experts speaking for the growth of the retail jewellery business. The company also publishes weekly digital newsletters for India and the Middle East and the rest of the world.

Role Description:

This is a fulltime inoffice role for a Conference Manager & are looking for females . The Conference Manager will be responsible for daytoday tasks associated with organizing conferences and event planning including budgeting and customer service success.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for speaker acquisition awards entries coordination & all communication as the project (conference and awards)

timelines.

Agenda & topic creation as per the market trends & industry requirements.

Adhering to all project deadlines for speaker & agenda management and coordination with

different stakeholders of the conference.

Responsible for building pool of speakers and awards entries for different conferences & awards.

Coordinating with Speakers & identifying their strength areas & accordingly design their sessions

Communicating all the required information related to conference & their session to speakers

Supporting speakers in their session preparations & schedules for preparations

Help in building rapport with the speaker so that we can leverage the relation for other initiatives

Coordination with different stakeholders to promote the conference & speakers.

Candidate Requirements/Key Abilities:

Excellent communication skills

Indepth knowledge of Retail and Technology conferences

Prior experience in Retail Function would be preferable.

Pleasing personality with approach to engaging conversation

Highly organized with attention to detail and maintaining timelines and priorities on every

project.

Ability to multitask and meet deadlines and willing to extend the working hour if required by

project. Strong in operations.

Demonstrate initiative and a can do approach.

Email etiquette and Knowledge of MS Office Excel Word Powerpoint Google Sheets is essentials

Work in close collaboration with the other team members and report to General Manager Events

Comfortable with calling and coordinating for call schedules.

Note: Candidate has to be focused and committed towards her goal.
