Job Title: Development Manager Location/s: Mumbai, India MISSION Lead development activities in India in conjunction with the central development team Provide leadership for the early development of the design for the Mumbai and Chennai Schemes Lead permitting and power applications for the Mumbai and Chennai Schemes Provide a commercial overview of the development function Develop relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to deliver the development objectives OUTCOMES Provide leadership to the India team to deliver design/development solutions that meet the business objectives of the Global Reference Design and acceptable financial returns for the scheme. Submission of permitting and power applications to meet the requirements of the overall development programme. THE TEAM The India Development Manager sites within the overall development function of Colt DCS, tasked with land acquisition, leading the early development of the design, permitting and power aspects of projects. The development team, in conjunction with Asset Management, are responsible for developing the business case and obtaining board approval, including funding applications to progress the scheme. The function has key internal interactions with design, delivery and sales to agree business critical milestones and objectives. External stakeholders include local council, permitting authorities, power authorities to progress applications and approvals. This includes developing key relationships with external stakeholders. The role will report to the India Country Head with a dotted line to the Development Director for UK and India. THE SKILLS / EXPERTISE THEY BRING (Seven bullet maximum) Strong organization skills
