Job description
Role and Responsibilities: Research, outline, write, and edit content, working closely with product, engineering and customer-facing teams to understand project requirements. Gather information from subject-matter experts and develop, organize, and write documentation. Review the drafts with stakeholders for quality content. Write user-friendly content that meets the needs of the target audience. Involve in UI copy reviews for the design team. Seek feedback from our customer-facing teams and contribute to improving our published content. Evaluate current content and develop innovative methods for improvement. Support the documentation team to meet the deadlines.
Required skills: Min. 1-2 years of experience in technical writing. Certification in Technical Writing. Experience in writing documentation for various audiences. Excellent communication and writing skills. Good knowledge of Jira, Confluence, SnagIt, WordPress, and other authoring tools Good understanding of the DDLC process and Writing Style Guide (MSTP). Knowledge of DITA is an added advantage.Job tags
