Role Description This is a full-time role for a Finance Manager. The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations of the company, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, financial analysis, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations and developing financial strategies to maximize profitability and growth. This role is in Mumbai - onsite. Job description Responsibilities Manage all finance & accounting operations including billing, payroll, A/R, A/P, GL and counsel, cost accounting, inventory accounting, and revenue recognition. Financial forecasting & projections. Preparing reporting and analysing budget variances. Reviewing the company's financial statements to ensure they are accurate. Preparing month-end reports for management, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, Management analysis of periodical financial statements Preparing & reviewing periodical MIS statements/reports/presentations for board/ investors communications etc. Recommending changes in policies or procedures that will improve financial performance. Ensuring compliance with government regulations and statutory compliance Overseeing all financial planning and analysis Support month-end and year-end close processes. Manage cash flow. Accounts receivables/ collection. Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting. Manage and comply with local, state, and government reporting requirements and tax filings. Monitor and ensure adherence to business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls. Payroll processing and labour law compliances Manage the preparation and publication of departmental and organization financial documents. Examine financial and legal documents to verify accuracy and adherence to financial regulations and acceptable financial principles. Audit –Handling Statutory and internal Audit. Requirements Qualified Chartered Accountant/ MBA Finance/ or equivalent degree. Proven experience in finance management. Good communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills. Strong leadership qualities. Sound knowledge of accounting fundamentals. Minute attention to details Compliance oriented. Analytical skills Experience in working in Tally/ ERP/ Accounting software. Proficiency in accounting software – MS office skills Must possess knowledge for TDS and GST. 5-7 years relevant experience Strong understanding of credit principles, policies and regulations. Excellent written & verbal communication skills and ability to build effective relationships with various stake holders. Ability to multi-task independently under tight timelines and eye for details.Job tags
