What you’ll do
The IT Development Specialist focuses upon the development of applications / products in line with the technology roadmap and standards.
The IT Development Specialist delivers development of programme logic for new applications / products or analysis and modification of logic in existing applications (activities may also include elements of technical testing). Typically reports to the Senior IT Development Manager of the Head of Technology.
• Experience with or good knowledge of agile, sprint, scrum concepts.
• PEGA Rules Process Commander (PRPC) for Business Process Management and Business Rules Development
• Experience creating Pega workflows, defining rules, creating classes, developing templates, streams, data pages, activities, and UI's in PRPC
• Experience in implementing Pega Decisioning rules, Strategies, engagement policies, constraints, and channel configuration.
• Experience in developing, monitoring, and troubleshooting batch campaigns
• Knowledge of data flows, segmentation, AI concepts and experience in implementing changes to these modules.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues
• Ability to develop integration with other system, troubleshoot and resolve integration issues
• Coordination with operations and testing team and provide defect fixes and bugfixes.
• Build and unit test of the application components and/or managing development activities, performing peer reviews, and escalating technical issues.
• Collaborates with the technical team
Core competencies, knowledge and experience [max 5]:
• 4+ years in Pega Decisioning and marketing. Pega PRPC Version 8.x/7.x Development, Architecture Design and integration.
• Ability to implement the rules and build low level design
• Knowledge of on XML, Java, Oracle, Java script and SQL.
Key accountabilities and decision ownership
• Experience in implementing Pega Decisioning rules, Strategies, engagement policies, constraints, and channel configuration.
• Experience in developing, monitoring, and troubleshooting batch campaigns
Must have technical / professional qualifications:
• Engineering degree/Science degree
• CSA (Certified System Architect),
• CSSA (Certified Senior System Architect)
• CPDC (Certified Pega Decisioning Consultant
• Strong analytical background with the ability to code and develop on PEGA Predictive analytics module
• Troubleshoot technical issues and guides the operations team to find the root cause
• Knowledge of data flows, segmentation, AI concepts and experience in implementing changes to these modules.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues
