Job description

We, The Test Tribe, are a Community-led EdTech Startup focused on upskilling, backed by a leading global QA Community. We are looking for a self-driven, street-smart, optimist, go-getter Generalist who is ready to learn it all, do it all, and move things across verticals and new initiatives by working directly and closely with the Leadership.

We are looking for a Founders’ Office Role who can drive Product, Product Supply, and Growth but, most importantly, is a Generalist who is ready to drive anything to the finish line. This role will enable Leadership to think and plan the next big thing while this person is not only helping with the ideas and execution there but also independently leading the key existing growth initiatives to success.

You will work with the Leadership directly to prioritize and drive several internal and external initiatives for Product, Growth, Hiring, new initiatives, and beyond.

While we deep dive into Responsibilities, let’s also understand that this role doesn't come with a standard set of responsibilities. As Founders' Office, you will be expected to have a whatever-it-takes approach to help the leadership and the Company to do better.

Responsibilities: A role where you work directly with our founder or leadership team to help them build and grow the company. Solving problems through structured thinking, research, project planning, and on-ground execution. Owning responsibilities across domains such as strategy, marketing, operations, and partnerships. Solving for Product supply extremely well and contributing to Product growth Putting accelerated and significant efforts to understand the domain well enough so it helps you do your job better. Identify opportunities for performance improvement across the organization. Produce monthly reports, which include key metrics, financial results, and investor updates. Help in sustaining investor relations, fundraising, and business development. Work with the tech, marketing, content, and community teams to build and launch new products, establish the content engine, iterate to product-market fit, build strategic partnerships, work on GTM, and explore new business avenues. Establish KPIs, track progress across multiple projects, and work with stakeholders across functions. Strategy is great - But moving projects that do not have a single defined owner is what would separate you. Provides a communication bridge between the Leadership and the Internal and external stakeholders. Taking complete ownership of the tasks that are to be done to assist the Founder and leadership in their day-to-day operations. Pick up special projects that resonate with the long-term goals of The Test Tribe. Being aware of happenings around EdTech, Testing, Startups, Fundraising, Sponsorships, and Marketing.

Requirements: 3-7 years of total experience. You are a multi-tasker who does the best without losing cool. Experience working in management/strategy and execution in a fast-paced startup environment. You do not wait for instructions and guidelines but rather take end-to-end ownership of things. Keen interest in learning about business and products by making hands dirty on the ground level. Getting things done in a fast-paced work environment. You are an entrepreneur at heart, i.e., you are not only excited about startups but also really understand what it is like to work in one. Agile enough to thrive in a dynamic startup environment yet organized and detail-oriented to ensure nothing falls off the cracks. A decent understanding of money, budgets, and business planning. Prior proven founders’ / CEOs' office experience would be a big plus. You are quick to learn new skills if required to get the job done. Ability to break down problems into actionable chunks. You’re an optimist focused on Solutions always and do not settle for less than the best possible. Computer Science Degree would be a big plus. Software Testing domain knowledge would be a big plus. EdTech experience would be a big plus.
