Sr. Director, Account Management - BFSI (Technology Transformation) - Mumbai
The Opportunity: We are seeking a highly accomplished and strategic Sr. Director, Account Management to lead and grow our BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance) vertical, specifically focusing on driving digital transformation initiatives. This is a pivotal leadership role for a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience to shape the future of our company and its clients in the ever-evolving digital landscape. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute comprehensive growth strategies for a high-value portfolio of BFSI accounts, aligning with corporate objectives and each client's unique digital transformation goals. Build and maintain trusted advisor relationships with C-suite executives across client organizations, acting as a strategic partner who influences key decision-making processes throughout their digital journeys. Own the full lifecycle of multi-million dollar engagements, leading cross-functional teams across strategy, design, implementation, change management, and delivery across the entire BFSI value chain. Spearhead account expansion by exceeding ambitious annual growth targets through strategic identification and onboarding of new business opportunities within existing customer ecosystems, including upsell and cross-sell initiatives. Lead a high-performing team of Account Managers, Architects, and other client-facing professionals, ensuring exceptional service delivery that consistently exceeds customer expectations. Cultivate strong, multi-level relationships across all client organizations, fostering a deep understanding of their needs, challenges, and opportunities to unlock maximum value. Remain at the forefront of digital transformation and BFSI industry trends, proactively identifying innovative growth opportunities and shaping strategic direction. Proactively manage risks and resolve issues within client engagements, ensuring seamless delivery and unwavering client satisfaction. Ideal Candidate Profile: 20+ years of demonstrably successful experience in B2B sales leadership, ideally within the BFSI sector or related industries (FinTech, RegTech). Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets and consistently closing complex, multi-million dollar deals in a competitive environment. Deep understanding of digital transformation trends, technologies, and their application within the BFSI industry. Executive presence and exceptional relationship-building acumen, with the ability to confidently engage with C-suite executives and navigate complex organizational dynamics. Proven leadership and team management skills, with a history of inspiring and motivating high-performing individuals. Postgraduate degree in Business Administration (MBA) or equivalent from a top-tier business school highly preferred, along with industry-specific certifications in relevant digital transformation frameworks or technologies.Job tags
