Job description

Desired Experience: 3 to 6 years as an Communications and Fundraising for Non-profits.

Job Description:
To assist the organisation board in managing the PR & Communications department. The Manager will develop a comprehensive Communications strategy and will implement the same. The Manager will directly report to the Executive Director and will be an important part of the organisation's senior management.
We are searching for an experienced PR & Communications Manager with excellent writing skills and networking abilities. The Manager will be responsible for creating quality content like Annual reports, articles, blogs, etc. She/He will be responsible for drafting award applications and managing content on the organisation's website and social media. The Manager will also engage with media houses to get articles featuring the organisation's work published.

Responsibilities

Assist the organisation's senior leadership in developing a communication, visibility, and branding strategy
Initiate and develop media relationships and ensure media coverage around awareness of the organisation's model, impact, and achievements
Manage the content on the organisation's website and blogsite
Manage the organisation's presence and reach on social media platforms
Actively look out for platforms where the organisation can publish articles, papers, etc., and establish contacts with writers and editors.
Contribute to the development of IEC material, Audio-Visual communicative information, compile presentation decks, reports, and other forms of documentation
Actively work on the creation of regular newsletters/posters/leaflets/toolkits/brochures/ articles/reports and other marketing materials
Create annual reports, presentations to the board, corporate presentations, etc. with guidance and inputs from senior leadership
Maintain data privacy as per the organisation's norms
Coordinate with seniors and share updates in monthly meetings.


Requirements
Masters or Bachelor's degree with specialization in PR, Communications, Fundraising, Business Management, MBA Marketing/ finance or Architecture (Master's degree preferred).
Minimum 3+ years of experience in Communications and Fundraising for Non-profits.
Sound knowledge of the Non-profit sector or a willingness to learn.
Excellent written, verbal, and telephonic communication skills.
Enterprising nature with very good networking skills.
Good organizational and Leadership qualities
Ability to work with cross-functional teams.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office-Excel, Power point, and Word
Fluency in English and Marathi is required. Hindi is a plus.
Event organizing experience (desirable)
