Join our team of talented and passionate engineers and help build the next generation of ArcGIS Enterprise, a suite of products delivering state-of-the-art mapping and analytics capability to thousands of customers and millions of users worldwide.

Our team build cutting edge, highly scalable and reliable distributed software for on-premises and the cloud, to make maps, geographic information, and analyses available on any device, anywhere, at any time. Our product designers collaborate with a talented team of web developers, software engineers, researchers, and product managers to design and deliver elegant, intuitive, and modern web user experience for various ArcGIS Enterprise applications.

We are seeking talented and motivated product designers for the next generation of ArcGIS Enterprise. If you are someone who understands user-centered design processes, systems thinking and interaction design principles and enjoys building user experience for complex problems that push your creative design boundaries, this is the place to be!

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with product engineers, development engineers, researchers, and product managers to gather and evaluate UI requirements for new ArcGIS Enterprise software releases
  • Collaborate with a global team of designers in Esri's Creative Lab
  • Build interactive wireframes and mockups and communicate design ideas and concepts to various stakeholders
  • Design simple and easy to use user interfaces
  • Develop a deep understanding of the ArcGIS product ecosystem to influence design decisions

Requirements

  • 1+ years of relevant experience specializing in visual design for the web
  • Proven ability to solve problems conceptually and in collaboration with the entire team
  • Proficiency in design software (such as Figma)
  • Strong written and verbal skills to communicate design ideas and rationales
  • Proven ability to build and deliver quality software in a team environment
  • Effective time management and organization skills
  • Bachelor's degree in UX/Digital Product Design, human factors, graphic design, or related design disciplines
  • Existing work authorization for India

Recommended Qualifications

  • Online portfolio showcasing your work on visual design and design thinking for web
  • Familiarity with ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online or other geospatial technology

Portfolio Submission: Please include a link to your portfolio or samples of recent work. Samples should demonstrate design skills and a mix of low and high fidelity design deliverables.
