Job description

Mandatory Skills

• Good to excellent knowledge of common MS office suite applications
• Good working knowledge of CAD applications to develop, drawing layouts, labelling, dimensioning, sheet layout/scale, design details and drawings notes
• Good working knowledge MS SharePoint & BI applications, digital tools & applications for enhanced productivity & efficient teamwork
• Be a proactive team player

 

Desired Skills

• Work on technical delivery of a range of projects relating to water/wastewater/stormwater infrastructure and/or hydraulic modelling projects
• Experience with one or more of following areas with-in water industry projects is desired
  • Network modelling / Zonal Analysis
  • Asset Performance Assessments / Reviews
  • Operational Modelling
  • Network Improvement Solution Development
• Good verbal & written communication skills to interact with peers & clients in lead regions e.g CA
• Proactively uses hydraulic modelling tools, design standards and details, engineering design spreadsheets & calculations (e.g. Innovyze, DHI or Bentley applications)
• Proactively uses MS SharePoint & BI applications, digital tools & applications
• Open to learn & proactively use WSP business management solutions processes & best practices
• Delivers quality outputs with good amount of details in design & drawings
• Values Health & Safety within engineering design & construction
• Undertakes thorough self-check to offer high quality deliverables for review/submissions
