For more information, log on to About the Role: Building, testing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines for the efficient and secure flow of data within an organization Implementing ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to move and transform data between systems Creating and optimizing data models for efficient storage and retrieval of data Ensuring seamless data integration across different systems and platforms Implementing and maintaining security measures to protect sensitive data Optimizing database and query performance to ensure efficient data retrieval and processing; identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks Collaborating with data scientists and analysts to understand their data requirements Monitoring data pipelines and systems for performance issues and errors; responding to and resolving data-related incidents and outages About you: Proven experience in designing, implementing, and optimizing complex data pipelines; Experience in ETL processes & Tools such as Fivetran, Databricks and Apache Airflow Advanced skills in designing and optimizing data models for efficient storage and retrieval; Experience with both relational and NoSQL databases Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in data engineering, such as Python and Java Experience with Apache Kafka Event Streaming Platform Expertise in designing and managing data warehouses; Knowledge of data warehousing solutions Snowflake and Cosmos DB Knowledge of data governance best practices; experience implementing and managing data security measures Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex data issues Effective communication and teamwork skills and possess the ability to communicate clearly and effectively in oral and written form. Experience: 5-8 years Education: bachelor’s degree or equivalent studies PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS, SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE A passion for healthcare, financial services, software development, and/or any combination of these disciplines Strong interest in learning new things and comfort in pushing new boundariesJob tags
