Job description
Job Responsibilities:
Troubleshooting, Installation, maintenance, and tuning of Linux / Unix Systems. Prepares installs, and implement Linux / UNIX operating software and associated components. Design & Migrate VMs to containers & Manage containerized applications. Implementing and managing infrastructure as code. Designing, implementing, and maintaining automation processes. Performance troubleshooting and capacity planning. Working with and overseeing TCP/IP model, LAMP stack tuning, scaling, and maintenance Establish and maintain backup and recovery strategies for Windows and VMware environments to protect critical data and ensure business continuity. Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans for Linux systems, ensuring data integrity and business continuity in the event of system failures. Contributing member of uptime and on-call response time SLAs. Requirements: 6+ years experience in automation & infrastructure management. Extensive experience with automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Terraform) for configuration management and infrastructure as code. Proficiency in scripting languages Bash, PowerShell, Ansible etc ... Experience with containerization technology Docker & Docker swarm. Kubernetes knowledge is a plus. Experience in containerize orchestration with Docker. Experience in migrating virtual machines to containers. Familiarity with monitoring systems like Nagios, Splunk, NewRelic etc… Solid understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and security best practices. Solid experience in automating development, delivery and deployment workflows. Strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to rapidly identify and resolve complex technical issues. Able to work as an individual contributor. Any knowledge on Databases is a plus.Job tags
