Job description

JOB DESCRIPTION Production Management: Oversee all aspects of production operations, including assembly, paint, and body shop functions. Drive continuous improvement in production efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. Implement and maintain lean manufacturing principles and best practices. Ensure timely delivery of vehicles to meet production targets and customer commitments. Manage and optimize inventory levels to minimize costs and ensure material availability. Identify and implement opportunities for automation and process improvement.

Human Resources Management: Build and lead a high-performing team of manufacturing professionals. Develop and implement talent management strategies to attract, retain, and motivate employees. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment with a focus on safety and continuous learning. Oversee employee training and development programs to ensure skills alignment with production requirements. Manage labor relations and ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations.

Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain a robust quality management system aligned with international standards (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949). Conduct regular quality audits and inspections to identify and address potential issues. Track and analyze quality metrics to monitor and improve product quality. Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and procedures.

Financial Management: Monitor and manage production costs to ensure adherence to budget. Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives. Work closely with the finance department to forecast and manage production budgets.

Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers, government agencies, and local communities. Represent the plant effectively at various forums and meetings. Ensure compliance with all applicable environmental regulations and sustainability practices.

JOB REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, or other relevant field) or Business Administration. Master's degree preferred. Minimum of 10 years of experience in automotive manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Experience in electric vehicle production is highly desirable. Proven track record of meeting production goals, improving efficiency, and reducing costs in a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and practices. Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and standards, including OSHA, EPA, and ISO. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities. Microsoft Office Suite, MES systems knowledge and use is required. Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
