Job description
The CAD Technician role will include creation and editing of drawings in compliance with WSP US CAD Standards and detailing practices as well as supervision of CAD Technicians and ensuring high quality output.
- Responsible for basic CAD and BIM design tasks as directed by the Engineer/Senior CAD
- Responsible for all drafting for a discipline and Multidisciplinary as and when required
- Completion of CAD tasks received from Engineers and CAD Coordinator/Senior CAD
- Generate sections / schedules / schematics drawings from general arrangement drawing
- Review and monitor the production of drawings to maintain quality and accuracy
- Provide regular work status updates, including risks or concerns, to line manager / supervisor
- Complete the tasks as per agreed schedules
- Follow QA, document control
- Work with project team members on specified aspects of the project
- Ensure that Health & Safety and Quality is embedded into all work practices in line with company’ HSEQ policies
