Industry Process Consultant (Vehicle Crashworthiness)
DASSAULT SYSTÈMES, SIMULIA is looking for a highly skilled and motivated engineer to join the Industry Process Success (IPS) organization for Vehicle Crashworthiness. The candidate will develop new crash methodologies as well as support customer deployment for global clients.
Roles & Responsibilities:
As a member of the SIMULIA Industry Process Success team, you will:
- Use Modeling and Simulation applications in the SIMULIA portfolio to architect workflows for vehicle crashworthiness that effectively demonstrate the solutions.
- Work with the leading global automotive companies and help them solve challenging problems related to full vehicle crashworthiness workflows.
- Collaborate with global SMEs, technical account teams, and the product development teams within the company.
- Validate the latest features in SIMULIA's structural crash analysis software, developing new technical solutions of interest to the Automotive Industry
- Solve challenging problems for supporting vehicle development projects that integrate crash model build with other attributes such as NVH and Durability.
- Candidates with hands-on experience in global safety requirements/regulations such as FMVSS/ECE/EURONCAP/USNCAP are especially encouraged to apply.

Qualifications/Experience:
- PhD or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Expert knowledge of vehicle crashworthiness with a minimum experience of 5 years in the domain
- In-depth knowledge of Finite Element Analysis, Applied Solid Mechanics, Material Modeling and numerical methods
- Ability to develop and apply advanced safety/crash methodologies for subsystem & full vehicle load cases in conjunction with occupant safety.
- Excellent hands-on Solver experience on Abaqus/Explicit, LS Dyna, or Pam-Crash is required.
- Excellent hands-on software experience in Ansa, Hypermesh, Primer, VPS, or Dynaform is preferred.
- Hands-on experience in seat belt anchoring, dummy positioning, and airbag modeling is an advantage
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a desire for continuous learning.
- Strong English verbal/written communication skills and good storytelling and presentation skills.
