Job description
Position : Channel Hygiene and Audit - Manager
Reports to : Sales Operations - Head
Job Responsibilities :
The person will be part of the Sales Operation Excellence (SOE) Team and will be responsible for the operational hygiene of his/ her nationally.
Channel Hygiene and Audit Lead plays a very critical role in Xiaomi. The person handling the role will be responsible for driving True Retail and best utilization of Xiaomi resource in market place, agency management, support to sales team and process correction implementation of best market practice.
The profile is of a Team Lead.The primary role of the person would be to gather market intelligence on key channel hygiene parameters like infiltration, whole selling, pricing and/ or any other market activity which may impact the sales, distribution or brand image of Xiaomi.
The person will need to:
.Travel extensively across PAN India on need basis
.review/manage/conduct critical audits at distributor point, retail outlets and designated whole sale markets and
Submit findings of audit done either by team or agency in a detailed report along with all relevant information & supporting to Management.
Job Duties :
.Ensuring channel harmony across channels by monitoring and controlling the price disparity in the market place.
.Control of infiltration (international & domestic grey) and enforcement of true retail.
.Conducting the MI Home/MiSD audits to safeguard of inventories, assets and adherence to statutory compliance.
.Review Mi Home/MiSD surveillance audit to enhance the customer experience.
.Smart Market visits to retail point to get feedback from retailer/promoter/customer and to assess Xiaomi Brand visibility at retail point. To report, to socialize market issues to stakeholders to initiate corrective measure for GAPs identified. Assess the Xiaomi Visibility and socialize with promoter/customer to get unbiased input.
.Monthly Partners Communication to ensure adherence to Xiaomi Business Policies.
.Support to HQ team in the implementation of IT-Related Projects.
.Drive Weekly, monthly reports to Mgmt. & other stakeholders.
.Conduct DBR Audits to curb wholesaling, ensure brand loyalty, ensure correct scheme settlements to retailers, ensure no billing to Non-MIPPs and correct pricing for retailers.
.To conduct Retail Audit which comprise of Brand Rejuvenation validation ensure installation such as furniture/fixtures and marketing material placed in each outlet as per planogram and upkeep is done as per guidelines.
.To run Promoter Efficiency Program to ensure that our promoters are providing best experience to the customers and plug the gaps.
.Conduct process audit right from GTM to sales
.SOP adhere audit and corrections
.Conduct Special Audits on Channel Development Fund
Desired Candidate Profile :
.Strong auditing, analytical and risk assessment skills
.Vendor Management/Coordination to ensure timely conclusion of various audits.
.Solid understanding of auditing concepts and techniques to effectively complete audits under no supervision
.Must have knowledge of GST & IT returns, P&L and Balance sheets
.Able to consolidate the knowledge obtained to assess the adequacy of the scope of the audit or assessment
.Able to document the audit work which provides the support for observations, conclusions, and the final report
.Identify the root cause and able to provide solutions to solve it
.Working knowledge of Tally/ Busy any other accounting software used by Distributors
.Willingness to learn and use general audit tools to perform effective audits.
.Proven stakeholder management skills
.Proficient in Excel, MS access, power point and experience of working on large data
.Good working knowledge of the mobile industry from a distribution and retail perspective
.Good communication and interpersonal skills
.Have cohesive & collaborative approach
.Experience in Channel Partner Audit/ Internal Audit/ Process Audit of 8+ years
.Bachelor degree in any field / MBA / CA / CIA / CFE
