Job Title: Professor (Lecture Faculty) - Life Sciences & Biotechnology

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced individual to join our academic team as a Professor in the field of Life Sciences & Biotechnology. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality lectures, conducting research, and contributing to the overall academic and professional development of students. This position involves a combination of teaching, research, and service responsibilities within the Life Sciences and Biotechnology department.

Key Responsibilities:

1 - Teaching:

• Develop and deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and laboratory sessions in Life Sciences & Biotechnology courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking.
• Stay updated on advancements in the field and incorporate relevant industry trends into the curriculum.

2 - Research:

• Conduct cutting-edge research in the field of Life Sciences & Biotechnology, leading to publications in reputable journals.
• Seek external research funding and collaborate with other faculty members, research institutions, and industry partners.
• Mentor and supervise graduate students in their research projects.

3- Curriculum Development:

• Contribute to the development and enhancement of the Life Sciences & Biotechnology curriculum, ensuring alignment with industry needs and academic standards.
• Integrate innovative teaching methods, technology, and real-world applications into the curriculum.

4- Advising and Mentoring:

• Provide academic and career guidance to students pursuing degrees in Life Sciences & Biotechnology.
• Serve as an academic advisor and mentor to students, assisting in their personal and professional development.

5- Service and Collaboration:

• Participate in departmental meetings, committees, and university-wide initiatives.
• Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary research projects and initiatives.
• Represent the department in professional conferences and events.

6- Community Engagement:

• Engage with the local community and industry partners to foster collaboration and promote the department's presence in the broader community.
• Participate in outreach programs and initiatives to enhance the university's community relations.

Qualifications:

• Ph.D. in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or a related field.
• Demonstrated excellence in teaching at the university level.
• Active research agenda with a record of publications in peer-reviewed journals.
• Experience in securing research funding and managing research projects.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in teaching and research.

Preferred Qualifications:
