As a Senior Engineer with expertise in Enterprise Platform, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining platform software.
This role is focused on hands-on work, but it also requires the ability to direct others and architect solutions.
Skill expectations: • As a Senior Backend Engineer with expertise in AWS, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our cloud-based backend systems. This role is focused on hands-on work, but it also requires the ability to direct others and architect larger-scale solutions. Your extensive experience will be invaluable in guiding architectural decisions, mentoring team members, and ensuring the security and scalability of applications.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain backend systems.
• Implement and maintain cloud infrastructure using best practices.
• Lead architectural design discussions and decisions based on your extensive
experience.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and project
objectives.
• Direct and mentor junior engineers to foster their growth.
• Administer and monitor the performance of cloud-based systems.
• Implement and maintain robust security measures to protect our applications and data.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 9-14 years of hands-on experience in AWS, including expertise with services like EC2, Lambda, Glue, S3 and more.
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture and serverless computing.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of database systems, eg Athena, RDS, Sqlite
• Familiarity with cloud security best practices and compliance standards.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• A proactive, self-motivated, and results-driven mindset.
Nice to Have:
• AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified
