The WAS (Wealth Analytical Services) Actuarial team supports Actuaries and Consultants of UK Occupational Pension Schemes with a broad range of actuarial & financial management services likeservices like Funding Valuation, Accounting (FRS102/IAS19R), Actuarial reports, Individual member calculations, de-risking projects, etc. We have a client base of 450+ clients, providing more than 50k+ hours of deliverables annually.

Analyst – WAS Actuarial

What you need to have:
- Graduation in any stream. Should be a member of the Actuarial profession (enrolled to complete actuarial studies at least)'
- Should have successfully cleared 2 to 4 at least 1 actuarial paper and/or relevant degree in Actuarial Sciences
- Should have a basic understanding of pension benefits and should be able to differentiate between DB and DC schemes (knowledge of UK employee benefits would be an added advantage)
- Should have undertaken the responsibility of coaching / mentoring team members.
- 2-3 years of relevant experience in the areas on valuation of pension schemes.
- Demonstrated track record of providing high quality work, good technical know-how and ability to work on bespoke projects with a team
- Knowledge of EB pensions domain
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills with ability to translate data into meaningful insights
- Knowledge and understanding of benefit calculations
- Ability to question the objective of an exercise and prod away diligentlyaway diligently/incrementally whenever ideas occur
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Adaptive to organisational culture and business environment and Good Team Player
- Graduation in any stream. Should be a member of the Actuarial profession (enrolled to complete actuarial studies at least)'
- Should have successfully cleared minimum of 2 actuarial papers
- Knowledge of EB pensions domain
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills with ability to translate data into meaningful insights
- Knowledge and understanding of benefit calculations
- Basic skills in MS Office
What makes you stand out
- Masters in Statistics / Mathematics / Actuarial science
- Should have cleared CT1, CT5
- Prior experience in team training / management
- Intermediate to advanced skills in MS-Excel will be an added advantage
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Adaptive to organisational culture and business environment
- Knowledge of other forms of employee benefits
- Masters in Statistics / Mathematics / Actuarial science
- Should have cleared CT1, CT5
- Any internship done within actuarial domain or related past work experience
- Knowledge of other forms of Employee Benefits
- Advanced skills in MS Office and VBA (macros)
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
