Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Project Manager located in Thane. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of projects, from initial planning to final execution. This role requires exceptional leadership abilities, strong project management skills, and hands-on experience in concept designing, basic engineering, and detailed engineering for pharmaceutical projects. The ideal candidate should have independently led at least one or two projects and demonstrated the ability to work collaboratively as a self-starter, motivator, and team player.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning and execution of projects in the pharmaceutical sector, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Coordinate multi-discipline engineering projects throughout the entire life cycle - from proposal to final project handover within Scheduled and committed time periods to the clients.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, procurement, construction, and validation to develop comprehensive project plans and schedules.
- Manage project resources effectively, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to achieve project objectives within budget constraints.
- Coordinate with clients to understand their requirements, provide regular project updates, and address any concerns or issues that arise during project execution.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to minimize project risks and ensure successful project delivery.
- Monitor project progress, identify deviations from the plan, and implement corrective actions as necessary to keep the project on track.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment, providing guidance and mentorship to project team members as needed.
- Prepare and present project status reports, performance metrics, and other relevant information to stakeholders and senior management.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project management processes and optimize project delivery efficiency.
Required Skills, Experience & Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certification
- Minimum 10+ Years of experience in project management, preferably in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
- Proven track record of successfully managing projects from initiation to completion, with a focus on delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, equipment, and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in project management tools, CAD and MS Office applications.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing project risks and issues.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
