Job Summary:
As the Lead of Growth Marketing Operations, you will be a key member of our Growth team, responsible for overseeing and optimizing our marketing operations across various on-platform marketing channels, visual merchandising & content promotions. You will lead a team of marketing professionals and work closely with other stakeholders to drive customer lifecycle, content success, and ultimately, the growth of the business.
About the team- Growth Marketing Operations team oversee and optimize the marketing operations across various on-platform marketing channels, visual merchandising & content promotions for Disney+ Hotstar.
Key Responsibilities
- Channel Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies for Display Ads, Video Ads, WhatsApp, Push Notifications, Visual Merchandizing, and Personalization to meet growth objectives
- Data-Driven Insights: Leverage data analytics and performance metrics to make data-driven decisions and optimize marketing campaigns across channels
- Audience Engagement: Drive viewer engagement through interactive content, recommendations, personalization, and audience feedback mechanisms
- Promotion: Develop and execute promotional campaigns to highlight new content releases, specials, and unique features on the platform
- Campaign Execution: Oversee the planning, execution, and tracking of marketing campaigns to drive customer engagement, acquisition, and retention
- Personalization: Implement and refine personalization strategies to enhance the customer experience and drive engagement
- Visual Merchandising: Develop strategies to enhance product presentation and merchandising to maximize engagement
- A/B Testing: Implement and analyze A/B tests to refine marketing strategies and improve conversion rates
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including design, content, and product teams to ensure seamless campaign execution and alignment with the brand
- Budget Management: Develop and manage marketing budgets for various channels, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize ROI
- Reporting: Provide regular reporting and analysis of marketing performance to company leadership
- Innovation: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to identify growth opportunities and incorporate them into marketing operations
Skills & Attributes for success
- Proven experience in a similar marketing leadership role, with a strong track record of success in managing and optimizing marketing channels
- Proficiency in content marketing, digital marketing with deep knowledge of marketing channels, including Display Ads, Video Ads, WhatsApp, Push Notifications, Visual Merchandising
- Strong analytical skills and experience using data-driven insights to make informed decisions.
- Creative and strategic thinking, with an eye for emerging trends in content and streaming
- Structured problem solving and driving innovation
- Exceptional leadership and team management abilities
- Excellent communication skills with the leadership
- Proficiency with marketing tools and software
- Creativity and a forward-thinking mindset
Preferred Education & Experience
- Preferably an MBA from tier 1 institute with 8-12 years of work experience in managing growth operations in related industry or in e-commerce/ startups.
