Position Summary

As a Junior Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated machines to enhance production efficiency and product quality. This role requires a strong understanding of automation technologies, continuous improvement methodologies, and a commitment to driving excellence within our automation operations. Job Responsibilities

• Automation System Design: Design, develop, and implement automated systems and control strategies to optimize manufacturing processes and reduce manual interventions.
• Integration: Collaborate with external vendors to integrate commodity systems into production processes, ensuring seamless operation and safety.
• Data Analysis: Collect and analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that can inform product improvements and enhancements.
• Collaboration: Work closely with customer team members to ensure automation solutions align with customer needs, production goals, and quality standards.
• Training: Provide training and support to customer teams on the operation and maintenance of automated systems.
• Compliance and Safety: Ensure that all automation systems and processes adhere to industry regulations and safety standards.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records, documentation, and technical manuals for automated systems and processes.

Expected Competencies

• Effectively interact and communicate directly with customer team members.
• Demonstrate technical understanding of customer needs to develop new and improved machines.
• Demonstrate technical mastery of multiple subjects – Mechanical, electrical, computer science.
• Demonstrate initiative, responsibility, analytical thinking, and sense of ownership.

Required Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 0-2 years' experience in machine design and development.
• Knowledge of core principles: Machine concepts, Pneumatics and robotics, Electrical and electronics
• Lateral thinking to provide innovative solutions to customer problem statements.
• Knowledge of machine components and interaction to build and troubleshoot machines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong work ethic and capability to work independently.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Computer Aided Design (CAD) and 3D software.
• Practical experience with engineering projects including machine building and maintenance.
• Knowledge of robotics and industrial automation technologies.
• Self-motivated individual with keen interest in learning and growing with the organization.
