Director of DevOps - Drive Transformation and Efficiency
Are you a seasoned DevOps leader with a passion for modernizing legacy systems and optimizing cloud operations We're searching for a visionary hands-on director to spearhead the evolution of our infrastructure on AWS, propelling us towards a future of scalability, security, and exceptional performance.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the charge on transformation: Craft and execute a comprehensive strategy for modernizing our application stack to cutting-edge AWS services, ensuring agility, efficiency, and cost optimization.
- Architect and build a future-proof cloud foundation: Leverage your deep understanding of AWS to design and implement a secure, resilient, and scalable infrastructure that fosters rapid innovation and growth.
- Champion automation across the entire SDLC: Identify and automate every conceivable aspect of our development and operations processes, from infrastructure provisioning and configuration to deployment, monitoring, and incident response.
- Best Practices: Drive the adoption of best practices in continuous integration, continuous deployment (CI/CD), and automation.
- Bridge the gap between Dev and Ops: Foster a culture of collaboration and shared responsibility, breaking down silos and nurturing a DevOps mindset across all teams.
- Cost Optimization: Manage budgets and resources effectively, ensuring optimal allocation for projects and initiatives.
- Empower your team to thrive: Cultivate a high-performing DevOps culture by providing mentorship, guidance, and opportunities for continuous learning and professional development.
- Stay ahead of the curve: Continuously seek and implement the latest DevOps trends and best practices, ensuring our cloud operations remain at the forefront of innovation.
- Become a trusted advisor: Provide strategic guidance and insights to executive leadership on all matters related to cloud strategy, infrastructure, and DevOps practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in DevOps leadership roles, with a proven track record of delivering successful cloud transformation initiatives
- In-depth expertise in AWS services, including IaC, CI/CD pipelines, serverless architectures, containerization technologies, and security best practices
- Solid scripting skills and proficiency with industry-standard DevOps tools
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and build consensus across diverse teams
- Demonstrated ability to translate business objectives into actionable technical strategies
- Passion for automation, continuous improvement, and delivering tangible results
