Hiring with the largest Indian NBFC based in Mumbai, Kurla1. Job Purpose Statement :Lead the development and implementation of advanced artificial intelligence models and algorithms. This role contributes to the company's overall business by driving innovation, improving decision-making processes, and enhancing financial products and services through the application of AI technology. The Senior AI Researcher plays a crucial role in maintaining the company's competitive edge in the NBFC space.2. Duties & Responsibilities :- Research and Development: Conduct cutting-edge research to advance the field of AI and its application in the NBFC/financial sector. This includes developing new algorithms and models, improving existing ones, and staying up-to-date with the latest AI research.- Implementation of AI Models: Implement AI models into the company's operations to enhance decision-making processes, improve financial products and services, and drive innovation.- Collaboration: Work closely with other teams within the company, such as data scientists, engineers, and business analysts, to ensure the effective implementation and integration of AI models.3. Key Challenges- Data Quality and Availability: Ensuring the quality and availability of data for model training and validation can be a significant challenge. This includes dealing with missing, unstructured, or inconsistent data.- Model Performance: Developing models that perform well in real-world scenarios is a complex task. It requires rigorous testing, validation, and continuous optimization.- Scalability: Scaling AI solutions to handle large volumes of data and integrate with various business functions can be technically challenging.- Keeping Up with Rapid Advances: The field of AI is advancing rapidly. Keeping up with the latest research, techniques, and tools can be demanding.- Ethical and Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring that AI models are transparent, fair, and comply with all relevant regulations and ethical guidelines is a critical challenge. This includes understanding and mitigating potential biases in AI models.4. Decision Making AuthorityMust have :- 4-6 years of experience working in ML and AI in BFSI- Working knowledge of Data Science toolbox like : Python, SQL, Jupyter Notebook, Azure/AWS cloud, PySpark, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, and other Big Data toolkit - Deep understanding of AI/ML models with experience in LLM, Reinforcement Learning, Computer Vision & Deep Learning (ref:hirist.tech)
