Senior Analyst – Data Security Incident Location -Pune/Bengaluru Mode of working -Hybrid Policy About The Role Your Impact - The Data Security Incident Sr Analyst is responsible for managing and overseeing data security incidents within the organization. This position plays a critical role in responding promptly and effectively to incidents related to data security. The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Adhering to established Data Security Incident Management processes and collaborating closely with business stakeholders to evaluate potential incidents.

- Leading periodic governance calls with relevant business stakeholders to assess and differentiate between false positives and actual incidents.
- Collaborating with the Data Security technology team to refine and enhance DLP policies based on feedback from business stakeholders.
- Keeping all relevant stakeholders informed about the status of ongoing incidents.
- Maintaining detailed documentation of incident reports, actions taken, and lessons learned.
- Providing insights and suggestions to enhance the organization's overall incident response capabilities.
- Developing and conducting training programs to educate employees on data security best practices and promoting awareness of DLP policies and the importance of reporting security incidents promptly.
About You Essential Skills & Competencies - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 3-4 years of professional experience in information security, with prior experience working with business stakeholders.
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in incident management, focusing on data security incidents and DLP tools.
- Proficiency in analyzing data security alerts and conducting analysis.
- Understanding of Data Loss Prevention (DLP) tools and their implementation, along with familiarity with cybersecurity principles, incident response methodologies, and security frameworks.
- Knowledge of Data protection regulations and privacy laws, excellent communication skills, ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, maintaining high ethical standards, meticulous attention to detail, and effective time management skills.
