Role Objective

As an Aerodynamics engineer'you will be responsible for the design and development of aerodynamic systems for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). You will work closely with other members of the engineering team to ensure that our drones meet the highest standards of performance, stability, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities And Accountabilities

  • Design and develop aerodynamic systems for UAVs, including wings, airfoils, and control surfaces
  • Conduct wind tunnel and flight testing to evaluate and optimize aerodynamic performance
  • Collaborate with other members of the engineering team to integrate aerodynamic systems with other drone components
  • Develop simulation models and conduct computational fluid dynamics (CFD) analysis to inform design decisions
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and emerging technologies to inform the design of new aerodynamic systems
  • Work closely with manufacturing and production teams to ensure that designs are optimized for efficient and cost-effective production
  • Document design processes, specifications, and test results to ensure clear communication across the organization

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
  • 3+ years working experience in relevant industry

Skills And Abilities

  • Strong knowledge of aerodynamics principles and experience with wind tunnel and flight testing
  • Experience with CFD analysis and simulation software
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements for UAVs
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues
  • Excellent communication amp; Interpersonal skills

Working Conditions
