Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Software Firmware Engineer. The Software Firmware Engineer will be responsible for software development, design, and debugging of embedded systems firmware. Specifically, the candidate will be responsible for working on the firmware for a wide range of electronic devices such as IoT and medical device products. The role also entails working closely with the hardware team to ensure end-to-end quality. Qualifications Software Development and Software Design skills with experience in embedded systems Experience in debugging and testing of firmware and hardware systems. Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, and assembler Experience with firmware development tools and debuggers such as IAR, Keil, or Eclipse Knowledge of ARM-based microcontroller architectures and hardware interfaces such as SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, and USB Completed engineering studies at university level; BE/BTech/ME/MTech Electronics/Electrical/computer science with 5+ years of experience. Experience with RTOS Ability to understand and debug problems across hardware/ Software boundaries. Have experience of SW development (coding)/ debugging on prototype hardware.
