Job Description
The primary role of this candidate as a DevOps Leadwill be responsible for maintaining and executing organizational policies and procedures for change management, configuration management, release and deployment management, service monitoring, support and problem management.
Roles and Responsibilities: - Will be responsible for monitoring server and application performance using one or more Azure-supported Application Performance Monitoring tools e.g. App dynamics.
- Will be responsible for CI/CD pipeline build, improvement and management
- Design, build and deliver cloud computing solutions, hosted services, and underlying software infrastructure.
- Take full ownership of the DevOps discipline and be responsible for managing all server, infrastructure related issues.
- Must exhibit a high-level end-to-end understanding of web application design, construction, testing, deployment, and delivery
- Work with engineers on the design, deployment and continuous improvement of important infrastructure services (i.e. logging, monitoring and alerting).
- Create and define monitoring operational standards and configurations
- Support and troubleshoot scalability, high availability, performance, monitoring, backup and restores of different environments.
- Support and troubleshoot product and infrastructure issues in production environments.
- Evaluate new tools, technologies, and processes to improve the speed, efficiency and scalability of websites continuous integration
- Ability to work independently, prioritizes existing projects, and proactively determine areas requiring additional attention, monitoring, or maintenance.
Qualifications
- Experience in Azure Cloud, Azure Dev Ops
- Experience in Azure Application Performance Tools (App Dynamics and others)
- Experience in any of the Container Schedulers like Kubernetes.
- Experience in Web servers' performance monitoring e.g. Chrome Dev Tools.
- Experience in web server log monitoring, configuration of reverse proxies.
- Experience with how different software components interact in a distributed environment
- Experience with Azure SQL, Synapse, ADF, Data Lake and Tuning SQLs
- Experience with .NET, .NET Core
- Knowledge of ReactJS is preferred
