What You Will Do - Design and architect infrastructure solutions for Compute, Network, and Storage.
- Monitoring core infrastructure and systems and proactively addressing alerts and outages.
- Provide a secure and highly available (99.9% uptime) environment for our customers.
- Required to be a part of 24 x 7 On Call Rotation
- Exercising independent judgment to analyze and resolve system issues.
- Assisting with escalated system issues from our support team.
- Maintaining, reviewing, and improving system documentation.
- Point of contact for queries relating to our IT systems.
- And other duties as assigned.
What To Bring - Requires one or more of the following certificates
- Preferred: VMware VCAP or greater
- Nice to Have: Cisco Data Center Certificates
- Experience Managing Large VMware Environments with 5000 + VMs, 200 + Hosts
- Experience patching, deploying, and maintaining VMware environment
- Experience with Cisco UCS Tech Stack and Dell Servers
- Experience with Storage Providers and Storage networking
- Experience with iSCSI, Fibre Channel
- Experience with Backups and Disaster Recovery
- VMware ESX 6.5 +
- Microsoft Server ecosystem (2008 - 2019: AD/DNS/DHCP/GPO/CA/DSFR/Other)
- Managing and Responding to Alerts (Solarwinds, vSphere, App Insights, etc.)
- Manage and monitor backups and disaster recovery environments
Nice To Have - Linux Experience
- Citrix Experience
- Hyper-V Experience
Additional Details - Initial Hours of operation: 4AM CST to 1PM CST (2:30PM IST to 11:30PM IST)
- (2:30AM IST to 11:30AM IST)
- Remote Work: Position is open for remote work if candidate has the resources available to be productive at home.
- Visa Sponsorship: Employment eligibility to work with Quorum Software in India is required as the company will not pursue visa sponsorship for this position.
