Client Partner - Head of Finance and Accounting

Job description
As the Head of Finance, Accounts, and Compliance, you will play a pivotal role in managing all financial matters for ArightCo and its clients. Your responsibilities will extend to ensuring regulatory compliance, overseeing client relations, and driving client retention strategies.
Qualifications:
- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification.
- Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in India in finance, accounting, and compliance roles.
- Preferably Fema and forex compliance
- Thorough understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrated expertise in client relationship management with a proven track record of driving client retention.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to identify business growth and optimization opportunities.
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Oversight:
- Take charge of all financial operations to ensure accuracy, transparency, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Devise and execute robust financial strategies in alignment with ArightCo's and clients' objectives.
- Monitor cash flow, financial performance, and key metrics, offering strategic insights to senior management.
Accounting Management:
- Supervise daily accounting activities of the team, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll, for both ArightCo and its clients.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, adhering to accounting standards and client requirements.
- Establish and uphold internal controls to mitigate financial risks and protect company and client assets.
Client Relationship Management:
- Act as the primary liaison for financial matters between ArightCo and its clients.
- Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their needs and delivering tailored financial solutions.
- Proactively address client concerns and escalations to maintain high levels of satisfaction and retention.
Compliance Management:
- Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to financial matters.
- Develop and enforce compliance policies and procedures for ArightCo and its clients.
- Collaborate with regulatory agencies and external stakeholders to ensure adherence to all applicable regulations.
Risk Management:
- Identify and assess financial risks, including foreign exchange risks, and develop strategies to mitigate them.
- Implement controls and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Client Retention Strategies:
- Work closely with marketing teams to devise and implement client retention strategies.
- Identify opportunities to enhance long-term client relationships through financial and HR services and solutions.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Recruit, train, and mentor finance and accounting staff, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
- Set clear performance expectations and provide ongoing feedback to ensure high-quality service delivery to both ArightCo and its clients.
