Senior Design Engineer – MEP Department
A. Educational Qualification: B.E. Mechanical B. Experience: 1. 1 - 2 Years of experience in HVAC Design and Drafting. 2. Experience in Hotels/ Hospitals/ Office buildings/ IT fit-outs/ Apartments/ Industries/ Residential/ Commercial buildings. C. Knowledge: 1. Good exposure in Commercial Air conditioning systems, Operation theatres and Clinical specialties, Kitchen ventilation, Basement car park ventilation, Cleanroom air conditioning, Data centres cooling, Earth Air tunnel, Radiant Cooling, Geothermal Heating/Cooling, Refrigeration, and Central heating. 2. Knowledge about system designs as per NBC, ASHRAE, and ISHRAE. 3. Knowledge of space planning including sizing, locating AHU rooms, and chiller plant room. D. Software Knowledge: Auto CAD, Revit MEP, Proficiency in MS Excel. E. Functional Skills Requirement: 1. Design new or replacement heating, cooling, and refrigeration systems specific to client needs and building specifications. 2. Preparation of Heat load calculation based on architectural drawings USING HAP/Excel-based tool. 3. Preparation of chiller plant room design, plan, and section drawings. 4. Sizing locating indoor and outdoor equipment (DX/ VRF). 5. Design centralized toilet exhaust system along with scheme/ isometric drawing. 6. Design the ventilation system for the basement car park/ services areas/ kitchens. 7. Duct sizing design. 8. Ducting layout to suit Architectural/ Interior layout and site condition. 9. Preparation of chilled water piping design (sizing, layout and scheme along with associated components). 10. Refrigerant piping design for DX and VRF systems (sizing, layout and scheme) 11. Analysis and selection of HVAC and other mechanical equipment 12. Coordinating with Client, Architectural team, and site. 13. Preparation of quantity take-off sheets and supporting documents. 14. Preparation of bill of quantities. 15. Listing make of approved materials. 16. Preparing budgetary estimates. 17. Review and approve vendor of technical submittals. 18. Approval of vendor shop drawings. 19. Managing team responsibilities and deliverables. 20. Monitoring the progress of site at work and reporting the same to management and client as required 21. Coordination with other services details and preparing combined services drawings. F. Other Requirements: 1. Dynamic, Proactive, Passionate. 2. Problem-solving skills, be a team player with a creative approach. 3. Adapt to business requirements. 4. Good command of English - written and verbal communication. 5.
