The ideal candidate will be responsible for finding and identifying business opportunities through a variety of sources. Once leads are identified, this candidate will reach out and meet with the business' decision makers to better understand their business needs and how our product could help them.
Responsibilities
- Sales Revenue Generation: Meeting or exceeding sales revenue goals is the main KRA for a salesperson. They need to follow up on queries, actively seek leads, and turn prospects into paying clients.
- Customer Relationship Management (CRM): Building and maintaining trusting relationships with clients is essential in customer relationship management (CRM). The salesperson should guarantee prompt responses to questions, solve client concerns, and deliver first-rate client assistance.
- Lead Generation and Prospecting: For sales to increase, potential clients must be actively sought out and identified. sales representatives should aggressively seek out leads, qualify them, and make contact.
- Product and Service Knowledge: A salesperson in logistics needs to be well-versed in the company's services. They can respond to consumer inquiries accurately and provide acceptable answers because of this knowledge.
- Market Research and Competitive Analysis: Staying up-to-date with industry trends, market changes, and competitors' activities helps the sales person adjust their sales strategies and stay ahead in the market.
- Sales Reporting and Analysis: Maintaining and analyzing sales data provides valuable insights into performance. The salesperson should track their sales activities, measure performance metrics, and identify areas for improvement.
- Team Collaboration: sales often work in coordination with other teams, such as operations and customer support. Collaboration and effective communication within the organization are essential for successful logistics operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in Freight Forwarding & logistics.
- Experience working with CRM software.
