DATA TECHNICAL PROJECT MANAGER
Role Profile The purpose of the Technical Data Project Manager is to manage technical projects having extensive use Data technologies. Key Accountabilities Defining project objectives, constraints, and risks Establishing a budget, a schedule, and sticking to them Communicating with all project stakeholders Developing and implementing effective data collection strategies Setting up a project monitoring and maintenance strategy Developing metrics to demonstrate the value of the project. Anticipating technological, technical, ethical, and financial risks of the project Ensuring the quality and accuracy of the data used Managing releases associated with project. Mentor team members. Active hands-on involvement in all phases of projects – requirements, analysis, design, testing and releases. Should be able to technically contribute towards project deliveries. Facilitate agile teams under scrum methodology -if applicable Functional Skills Experience managing Data Projects and Releases. Good communication skills Ability to come-up with technical tasks within delivery plan. Prior Technical background in Data technologies is a must have. Good technical knowledge of at least 1 ETL tool (SSIS/Talend/Azure Data Factory/Data Bricks) Good technical knowledge of at least 1 database technology (SQL Server preferred) Technical problem-solving abilities, strong analytical skills. Good people management skills, ability to manage conflict.
