About Lowe's India

Lowe's India is the retail technology center for Lowe's Companies Inc. and is based out of Bengaluru, India. Set up in 2014, Lowe's India focuses on technology and shared business services. Technology teams support e-commerce, mobile, infrastructure and corporate systems that enable various functions such as supply chain, distribution, corporate services. Initiated with just over 20 associates, Lowe's India now has a growing associate base which employs over 3000 people.

Role & Repsonsibilities

The principal purpose of the Associate Director of Media & CRM is to lead across media and loyalty verticals to integrate between India [SSCB] and US [SSCM] to execute marketing strategies and tactics across key platforms and initiatives. Breadth of scope will include Loyalty, SEM across platforms and SEO with responsibility to find synergies across all verticals. This Associate Director requires the ability to manage within a dynamic multidimensional organization in a fast-paced environment. To accomplish this, they must work across of numerous internal teams and external teams and agencies and ensure they cascade and bring their teams along with clarity and transparency. This role will have an opportunity to be motivated by complex challenges and want to build the future of commerce and customers. Be an advisor to their team and a collaborator across the marketing and tech organizations. This Associate Director will be responsible for identifying and champion iniatives with speed and urgency cross-functionally. Responsibility to lead the documentation and learnings of performance in an effort of continuous improvement; utilizing playbooks and dashboard.

  • Collaborates with core media channel stakeholders to provide consistent and cohesive approach.
  • Regularly communicate to Marketing leadership on all KPIs associated with platform improvements, database health and operational excellence.
  • Be an advisor to a team of highly effective specialists managing large scale automated and ad-hoc customer communications.
  • Empower and enable marketing teams to achieve business goals through communication.
  • Document learnings from experiments and live campaigns to build a CRM Best Practices Playbook that can be used as a reference by every part of the business.
  • Evolve CRM capabilities to meet ongoing business needs.
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to enhance CRM platform capabilities and processes.
  • Work closely with the CRM Lifecycle stakeholders to develop and implement acquisition, utilization, engagement, and retention email, push notification, and In-app messaging campaigns.
  • Standardize and enhance campaign workflows and QA processes.
  • Facilitate sprint planning, backlogs management, and project prioritization.
  • Excellent project management, problem-solving and communication skills with the ability to balance rigorous attention to detail with swift execution
  • Outstanding relationship building, influencing, and collaboration skills
  • Goal oriented with the ability to move quickly and easily between high level strategy and rolling-up-sleeves for execution

Education, Qualification & Experience

  • 13+ years of experience
  • 5+ years of experience in leading teams
  • Bachelor's degree - Marketing, Business, Communications or related field
  • 8+ yrs of marketing and media experience
  • Prior experience in Retail/ Ecommerce/ GCC / Marketing Advertising Industry
  • Experience and understanding of SEO/SEM/Paid Search/Paid Social/Loyalty Operations/CRM
  • Knowledge of social media (organic/paid), SEM,
  • Business acumen and strategic thinking skills
  • Excellent writing and communication skills, including the ability to develop analytical documents for presentation to management
  • Proven track record of building and driving a high performance team
  • Demonstrated understanding of Marketing and connection to broader enterprise functions
  • Strong interpersonal problem solving and multi-tasking abilities
  • Demonstrated self-starter
  • Experience in a retail/home improvement environment
