Senior Analyst, Private Credit

Job description
Main Responsibilities
- The Analyst will be responsible to support investment professionals in the New York, Westport, and Fort Lauderdale offices in their screening, analyzing and execution work of private debt investments.
- The Analyst will provide analytical support and specific analyses to assist with all aspects of transaction evaluation including business, industry and financial due diligence, financial modeling and valuation analysis and preparation of investment committee memoranda and presentations.
- Some specific examples of work products include industry/sector research, comparable company analysis, and other company-specific analyses (i.e. cohort study, customer churn, facility level analysis).
- Another component of the position is to monitor financial performance across the portfolio (50+ borrowers) and spread financials into the Team's portfolio management system (SentryPM) to build internal tracking models for each borrower.
Qualifications Desired Skills and Experience
- Qualified candidates should be MBA / CA / CFA with a strong finance background and one - two years of prior work experience in investment banking, lending and/or investing.
- The position requires a mature individual who can handle multiple assignments effectively and possesses solid analytical skills.
- Hands-on experience with MS-Excel, Word, PPT,
- Strong with Financial Models, Projections, Methods of Valuations, Cash Flows.
- Good understanding of P&L, Balance Sheets, Ratio Analysis, and interpreting them.
- Strong communications skills are also required.
- Ability to interact with other team members in Mumbai and US (NY, CT, FL) offices.
