Job Title: Senior POD verifier/I4
Job Purpose:
The POD Verifier/I4 is responsible for ensuring that all proof of delivery documents are accurate, complete, and processed in a timely manner. This role is crucial in confirming the successful delivery of goods and services and plays an integral part in the company's logistics and supply chain processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Document Verification:
Review and verify Proof of Delivery (POD) documents for accuracy and completeness.
Confirm that delivered quantities match those on the original order and POD.
Data Entry & Processing:
Accurately enter POD details into the company's system or database.
Process any discrepancies or issues identified during verification.
Communication & Liaison:
Coordinate with delivery personnel, drivers, and customers to resolve any discrepancies in PODs.
Provide feedback and reports to the Logistics Manager regarding delivery issues or challenges.
Record Keeping:
Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all PODs.
Archive older records in accordance with company policy and regulatory requirements.
Continuous Improvement:
Suggest improvements to the POD verification process to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Stay updated with industry best practices and integrate them where relevant.
Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum 6 Yrs Experience in Service department
ITI or diploma Must
Primary Skills:
Attention to Detail: Ensure all PODs are reviewed meticulously for accuracy.
Data Entry Skills: Ability to enter data accurately and efficiently.
Problem-Solving: Address discrepancies or issues in PODs promptly and effectively.
Organizational Skills: Efficiently manage and organize a large volume of documents and data.
Communication Skills: Effectively communicate with various stakeholders in the delivery process.
Secondary Skills:
Time Management: Process and verify PODs within stipulated time frames.
Adaptability: Adapt to changing volumes of deliveries or new processes.
Tech Savviness: Familiarity with logistics and delivery software or databases.
Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with the logistics team and other departments.
Customer Service Orientation: Understand the importance of timely and accurate POD verification for customer satisfaction.
