Business Analyst (Data & Business Intelligence) Job Location: India (Remote) Job Overview: Business Analyst is responsible for providing functional analytic expertise to Caidya team members, serving as a key customer-facing resource to the organization. Collaborate with all Caidya cross-functional teams to support the growth and continuous evolution of our enterprise business intelligence (BI) solutions. The role will identify, analyze, implement, coordinate, and prioritize project tasks, and communicate with IT team members, Caidya cross functional teams, and external vendors. The Business Analyst will ensure each project is implemented within contractual obligations, internal SOPs, and regulatory requirements. This position will report to the Senior Director, Data & Business Intelligence Job Duties and Responsibilities: Requirements Assessment and Gathering · Discuss, define, analyze, and produce written Business Requirements and/or User Stories so that they can be easily understood. This will include scenarios whereby the requirements are at diverse levels of maturity. A hands-on approach is required in this area. · Both functional and non-functional requirements will need to be documented, ensuring alignment with organizational strategic goals. · Knowledge of traditional Software Development Life Cycles (SDLC) and Agile lifecycle methodologies with experience capturing requirements in both environments. Influencing Business Change · Act as a bridge between various stakeholders across all business units and technology levels throughout the organization, playing a crucial role in ensuring the desired change is successful. · Facilitate workshops as required across stakeholders at all levels to ensure successful implementation, training, adoption, and a culture of collaboration. · Develop and deliver end-user training and establish and maintain user reference materials for all user types for assigned projects/products. · Evaluate solution effectiveness through interpretation and analysis of key metrics, translating data into actionable insights. Problem Solutioning · Active participation and guidance of the team is necessary to work through issues and drive the team to an agreed-upon solution. · The Business Analyst will utilize business and user insights to form solutions ideas and make prioritization decisions to maximize the value of the IT solutions. The role requires an individual with the mindset that problems can be solved. Project Support · Work closely with the business owners of the application/solution, being the intermediary between them and BI development staff in all phases of the analysis processes. · Ensure that Technology teammates understand the business requirements in detail by translating requirements into technical terms. · Support Technology peers throughout the project/product lifecycle from analysis to implementation, including project intake, analysis, backlog grooming, documentation, QA (Quality Assurance), change management, implementation, user support, etc. · Support business to define the User Acceptance Test criteria, help business in defining User Acceptance test scenarios. · Learn about every business system that contributes to the BI portfolio and how to navigate and evaluate analytics solutions effectively. Supervisory Responsibilities: None Job Requirements: · Education o 4-year college degree in a related field; Management of Information Systems (MIS) or Computer Science. · Experience o 1-3 years’ experience in business analysis and managing multiple data and analytic projects required. o Previous experience in KPIs definition and storytelling visual analytics, preferably Power BI. o Strong analytical, oral, and written communication abilities, relationship management, consulting skills, as well as proficiency with technology required. o Ability to navigate within a fast-paced, rapidly maturing environment. o Highly proficient technical writing capabilities. o A team player who demonstrates strengths of integrity, accountability, ownership, and analytical thinking. o Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with significant experience managing multiple workstreams and cross-functional teams; formal project management experience. o Experience with both agile and waterfall project management approaches. · Skills/Competencies o Strong written and verbal communication skills o Strong interpersonal skills and a team player o Able to exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices and to determine appropriate action independently. o Exceptional attention to detail o Superior problem-solving skills · Capabilities o Ability to learn new technologies / processes. o Ability to perform a variety of tasks. o Ability to problem-solve. o Ability to take direction from other IT staff. o Ability to work independently. o Ability to work remotely.Job tags
