Job Description
Works in parallel with the business SMEs create thorough, accurate, and comprehensive SQL test queries and scripts
Develop SQL (AS400 scripts) and RPG Query for test data generation or test harness automation for iterative test cycles
Update and maintain AS400 data base scripts and test cases as applications and business rules change and identify areas of improvement
Translate functional requirements and specifications into documented test plans
Identify potential quality issues and report issues in a timely manner
work with Warehouse team (High Jump)
Monitor validation reports for issues and errors
As a self-starter, proactively research and understand the latest-and-greatest technology in the database related area
Develop and implement automation scripts to increase system efficiency and decrease the human intervention on any repeated tasks
Provide support and know hows to technology, support departments within the company to external clients
