Job Overview

We are hiring a talented Draftsman (MEPF Design) to join our team. As a Draftsman, you will be responsible for creating detailed drawings and designs for MEPF systems, including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and fire protection systems. This is a great opportunity for someone with 1 to 3 years of experience in MEPF design to showcase their skills and work on exciting projects. The job is located in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, and can be either full-time or part-time.

Qualifications and Skills

• 1 to 3 years of experience in MEPF design.
• Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of MEPF systems, including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
• Strong technical drawing skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to interpret and analyze technical documents and specifications.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Create detailed drawings and designs for MEPF systems, including electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
• Collaborate with engineers and architects to understand project requirements and specifications.
• Review and analyze technical documents and specifications.
• Prepare accurate and precise drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
• Ensure drawings adhere to industry standards and regulations.
• Make revisions to drawings as required based on feedback and changes in project scope.
• Coordinate with other team members to ensure timely completion of design deliverables.
• Maintain a library of design templates and standard details.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in MEPF design.
• Assist in the preparation of project proposals and cost estimates.

Job Description

The primary responsibility of a draftsman is to create detailed drawings, schematics, and plans for MEPF systems based on the specifications provided by engineers and designers.

A draftsman must possess a strong understanding of technical principles related to mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems to accurately translate design concepts into detailed drawings.

Draftsmen often work closely with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure that MEPF plans are coordinated with architectural and structural drawings. This coordination helps prevent conflicts and ensures that all systems are properly integrated within the building design.
