Job Description:

XMachines is seeking a dynamic Senior Electronics Engineer to spearhead the design, development, and implementation of embedded systems for our robotics projects. As a senior member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the electronics aspects of our challenging and impactful embedded electronics solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of embedded electronics systems for robotics applications.
• Provide technical expertise in hardware design and schematics for embedded systems.
• Oversee testing and troubleshooting of embedded systems to ensure reliable performance.
• Collaborate closely with the software and robotics engineering teams to integrate embedded systems with software components.
• Prior experience with various motors and motor controllers, ensuring seamless integration and optimization for diverse applications.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in electronics and embedded systems technology to propose innovative solutions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in embedded electronics design and development, preferably in robotics or related industries.
• Proven expertise in microcontroller and microprocessor-based systems.
• Experience with PCB design and layout, including high-speed digital design.
• Familiarity with embedded software development and debugging.
• Ability to lead and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred:

• Immediately available to join.
• Expertise in communication protocols such as SPI, I2C, and UART.
• Knowledge/Experience of wireless communication systems (Cellular, WiFi, BT, NFC, UWB) is a plus.
• Familiarity with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and embedded software architectures.
• Knowledge in power electronics and analog circuit design.
• Proficiency in C, C++.
