The Position

As a System Manager at Novo Nordisk, you will:

• Take ownership of IT deliverables and display anticipated results that add value to the organization. Participate in meetings, workshops, and forums with internal teams to implement best practices.
• Ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements, Operational level agreements, and best practices in service management.
• Validate computer systems and application services, manage IT configurations, and ensure IT security procedures is followed. Play a key role in system audits, ensuring compliance with policies and guidelines.
• Management of ITIL and system in regard to Change management, Configuration management, Release management, and Incident & Problem management. Manage stakeholders and vendors and engage with them regularly.
• Coach and share knowledge with the team, providing support for system management tasks. Participate the system management forums, Change and Release management forums and follow the IT best practices. Active participation in COSME (Center of System Management Excellence) summit and develop the business and management skills.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, we are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:

• Master’s degree or bachelor’s degree or similar graduate degree in relevant fields (Software Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration) and relevant business experience.
• 8+ years of experience within the field of IT expertise. 5+ years of experience with IT Systems management within GXP set up. Strong experience in validation of systems, equipment and IT system audits.
• Strong understanding of IT system architecture and emerging technologies.
• Sound knowledge of Service Level Agreements, Operational level agreements, and best practices in service management.
• Experience in system management, including Change management, Configuration management, Release management, and Incident & Problem management. Familiarity with ITIL and compliance policies.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with stakeholders.
• Strong presentation skills.

The Digital, Data & IT India team is a group of 900+ highly skilled IT professionals located in Global Business Services (GBS) Bengaluru (Bangalore). Our department is responsible for managing IT, including System Management, Project Management, Infrastructure Management, Compliance Management, Security Management, Process Management, and Vendor Management. We are an integral part of the DD&IT and support, operate, and further develop the portfolio of IT Systems used across departments in Novo Nordisk.
