SUMMARY OF POSITION: The Specialist/Senior Specialist - Tax will provide support to the Corporate Tax department to enhance the department's effectiveness. This individual will have insight and direct involvement into North America indirect tax compliance processes and administrative processes. This position is an entry-level position supporting the overall tax department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

North America Indirect Tax Compliance

• Prepare the monthly use tax compliance spreadsheets by creating the working papers for all use tax.
• US sales tax & GST data analysis of reports to sales tax spreadsheets monthly.
• Approve all sales tax returns monthly for 3rd party submissions.
• Prepare and submit the monthly payment journal entries for sales tax.
• Preparing the monthly sales tax account reconciliations for 30 legal entities.
• Prepare the journal entry for the monthly property tax payments.
• Populate the payment tracker sheet for property tax payments monthly.
• Approve property tax returns for 3rd party submissions.
• Assist with data collection & analysis for regulatory audit support.
• Assist with risk & exposure analysis for past invoicing.
• Assist with matrix maintenance.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: The position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Required Education and/or Experienc e

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration.
• 3-5 years of experience in an accounting or tax, supporting various levels of management.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and proficiency with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.

OTHER COMPUTER SKILLS :

Previous experience with ONESOURCE tax software and Alteryx software, a plus.
