This opportunity sits within the Center of Excellence's Transformation Team, that is focused on reshaping the future of Finance at Synopsys, driving strategy, process, system, structural and behavioral change across the finance function. The Anaplan Model Builder role will work with the Solution Architect and Corporate Senior Director, partnering with Synopsys leadership globally to drive transformative change in the collaborative planning and forecasting processes.
We are looking for a proven change leader excited to usher new era of digital finance at Synopsys. The ideal candidate should be a good problem-solver with a keen ability to diagnose function needs, deal with ambiguity, identify where we are and where we want to be, develop a blueprint / roadmap, and execute.
The Anaplan Model Builder will be working on projects that may emanate from Asia, Europe and US finance teams hence flexible to collaborate with different time zones.
Key Responsibilities - Serve as the Model Builder SME for large-scale connected planning solutions
- Gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements
- Translate business requirements into functional requirements and use cases
- Translate existing solutions, spreadsheets, and business problems into sophisticated Anaplan multi-dimensional models
- Modify existing models as part of a connected solution, optimization, or to incorporate new functionality
- Develop model documentation
- Participate in data integration and migration solutions
- Participate and/or lead UAT testing and deployment
- Operate cross-functionally with some ambiguity, and provide expertise to Strategy and FP&A teams on best practices for modeling and reporting
- Builds and develops Anaplan modules and list based on model blueprint
- Configure and maintain Anaplan lists, modules, dashboards, actions, and other model settings to meet business needs
- Monitor data flows to and from source systems to ensure all data is up-to-date and accurate
- Perform root cause analyses and propose solutions
- Provide hands-on training to new end users on Anaplan models and document processes
- Work closely with Anaplan Solution Architect
Desired Skills and Experience: - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Technology Information Systems, or equivalent degree or other relevant fields of study
- 3 years or more experience in operations or FP&A leveraging Anaplan or completed 3 or more Anaplan implementation projects as a Model Builder
- Certified Anaplan Model Builder, level 2 or higher
- Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud is a plus
- Exemplifies Connected Planning Culture
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial modeling skills
- Experience using and configuring multi-dimensional or cube-based planning and reporting tools.
- Strong understanding of business processes
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

Role Location - The role is located at the Company's office in Bangalore, India but flexible for remote work
