Job description
The BigCommerce Developer will be responsible for developing the BigCommerce storefront and Admin API. This role will need to interact with Technical Architects, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, QA, IT, Site Operations, UX, Creative, and retail teams to ensure to development of features as per business requirements. The role is open in Ahmedabad and Hyderabad location
The BigCommerce Developer's responsibilities include but are not limited to Developing eCommerce sites on the BigCommerce platform Developing custom BigCommerce themes Migrating websites from other eCommerce platforms to BigCommerce Integrating third-party and platform-supported apps in the sites Setting up payment integration, shipping methods and taxes in the BigCommerce platform Optimizing page speed of BigCommerce Sites Requirements 3- 4 years of experience in BigCommerce. Should have at least been part of 1 or more end-to-end BigCommerce implementations Strong experience with BigCommerce storefront and Admin API Experience of BigCommerce integration with backend ERP systems Strong experience in Stencil development Checkout customization using the BigCommerce Checkout template. Extensive experience with REST APIs and SDKs integration. In-depth knowledge of HTML, CSS, LESS, JavaScript, JSON, Node.js, Express.js, Handlebar.js, React, Redux, Material UI, jQuery, BoostrapJS, PLSQL, MongoDB, and Mongoose Experience with modern JavaScript libraries and tools. Preferred Experience Experience in React.js, DevOps, GCP, and Kubernetes or other containerization technologies Skills & Abilities: Excellent communication and collaboration skills Can work with a cross-functional team to design, prototype, and deliver high-quality productsJob tags
