The project primarily entails a flexible financial modeling platform for creating and reusing standardized modeling components and easily automating model runs. End-users for the said platform vary across Modelers, Analyst, Developers, Decision Makers, DevOps, etc.- We have our own shared python environment containing standard data science stack as well as specialized libraries for quantitative modeling and analysis. It supports rapid deployment, reusable modules and maintainable code that can respond quickly to market conditions and changing business requirements in a transparent and collaborative environment.- The technology stack for the project includes On premise and AWS Cloud, DataStax Cassandra with SOLR, AWS Redshift in real time data warehouse for Reporting, Python programming, etc.Role Description DevOps : Mandatory Skills :- Good understanding and knowledge of Unix/Linux Operating system and experience with basic commands, preferably shell scripting.- At least One year of solid hands on Programming Experience in Python or Java or C# or any other major programming language.- Good verbal and written communication skill.Good to have :- Experience with CI/CD tools such as AWS CodeBuild/ Jenkins/ Github Actions /BitBucket Pipeline. - Python knowledge and experience is desirable.Responsibilities :- Project task management- Define project deliverables, controls and ensure adherence to these- Supervise and assist the team on project execution and delivery- Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to client expectation- Communications, including deck writing- Coordination of all sub-team efforts; Creation of project plan, define milestones, timelines, review plan with the team- Delivery of output- Facilitation and gathering of client feedback on problem structuring- Understand and define business problems, get all background information and collect relevant data points- Create solution hypothesis and get client buy in, discuss and align on end objective, staffing need, timelines and budget- Effective management of frequency of feedback loop with team and client- Build capabilities in junior team membersWhat we offer :- EXL Analytics offers an exciting, fast paced and innovative environment, which brings together a group of sharp and entrepreneurial professionals who are eager to influence business decisions.
