Company is the leading manufacturer and exporter of Slitting rewinding machines for the converting and flexible packaging industry.

Responsibilities:

  1. Job Description for Sales Engineer

    1. Identifies potential customers, generating enquiries, sends introductory mailers and making cold calls wherever necessary to initiate contact.
    2. Networks with industry associates and otherwise keeps abreast with the latest industry trends, market developments, competitor information, leads, new projects and expansion plans of existing players.
    3. Maintains relationships with existing clients and new prospects by providing technical information, support and guidance.
    4. Gains a clear understanding of customers' requirements, records the enquiry in prescribed format and prepares quotation for appropriate equipment.
    5. Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing sales related information.
    6. Maintaining database of customers, prospects and business associates for respective regions.

 

  1. Desired Candidate Profile:
    1. Electronics/Instrumentation/ Mechanical engineer with 3-4 years of experience in Sales, from capital goods industry only.
    2. Candidates having relevant experience in the printing / flexible packaging industry will be preferred and offered a commensurately better package.
    3. Excellent command over English language (both written as well as spoken).
    4. Prior experience of working in ERP environment is desirable, though not compulsory.
    5. Strong interpersonal, presentation and probing skills Ability to establish and maintain client relationships.
    6. Energetic in prospecting skills.
    7. Ability to collate data and report systematically to management.
    8. Good knowledge of MS Office and PPT.
    9. Willingness to travel for sales visits (15 days in a month) mostly in north, south and western region of the country.

    Compensation: 5 to 6 Lacs
    Qualification : BE/ME in Mechanical, Electronics Communication. MBA in marketing will be an added advantage
