Job description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Leadership and Strategy
● Lead the Engineering team - Establish and Scale the eCommerce practice and client servicing operations.
● Develop and execute strategies for client acquisition and retention in the eCommerce domain.
● Drive innovation and optimize processes for efficient platform development and deployment.
2. Technical Expertise
● Oversee the end-to-end development of eCommerce platforms for clients, ensuring high-quality delivery and adherence to project timelines.
● Provide technical guidance and expertise in designing and implementing robust, scalable, and secure eCommerce solutions.
● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of eCommerce platforms with client requirements. 3. Infrastructure Management and Security
● Manage internal infrastructure, information assets, and IT systems to ensure smooth operations and data security.
● Implement and maintain robust security measures and compliance standards to safeguard client data and company assets.
● Stay updated on technological advancements and recommend improvements in infrastructure and security protocols. You have deep technical expertise across a multitude of eCommerce platforms, and cloud technologies with a bias towards execution. You should have a proven track record of successfully implementing and scaling eCommerce solutions
You should have strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to identify challenges, devise innovative solutions, and make data-driven decisions. You are constantly looking for ways to quantum improve the processes and systems.
You have strong emotional intelligence, enabling them to navigate conflicts, mentor team members, and create a positive and inclusive work environment.

● Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. An MBA is a plus.
● 10+ years of experience in engineering leadership roles, preferably within the eCommerce industry or related digital domains.
● Proven track record in successfully establishing and scaling eCommerce practices and managing client relationships.
● Strong technical expertise in eCommerce platform development, cloud technologies, security, and compliance.
● Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to inspire and mentor a diverse engineering team.
● Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
